I have configured NTP on my solaris 8 and started the service also when i give ntpdate -d <remote-machine ip> ( which is my other linux or solaris on the same LAN) aim getting the following message can anybody help plz.... in my ntp.conf i hv entered the ip of the machine which aim trying. but if i give the external remote machine( which is not in my lan)-- primary ntp server it is not giving this message. can anybody help plzzzz
