ntfs/fat32 pendrives and mp3 players


I am under solaris 10, using sunrays. Many people here, want to mount their pendrives and mp3 players, but they cant cause of the partitions that they use.
I want to know what sould I use to make this avaliable for them.

thnks, is there a way to make utdikadm to manage it automatically, as it does on most pendrives¿?

Use of command "rmformat" shows the slice of the USB MP3 player. Then mount it with
mount -F pcfs /the_slice /mountpoint

You could try in "/the_slice:c" too.


Or else you could try to fdisk it, and create a slice.

Most pendrives are auto mounted with utdiskadm ... I want to make it for ntfs ones!! is there a way to amke this automated?

Solaris doesnt read NTFS out of the box:
