Monitoring Solaris

Dear all,

I am using proxy server on solris 9 sparc .

I need to check the traffic( bytes ) for each ip address from the client side. Because from the proxy report i can't take the report that i needed. Is there any toll like ( PRTG ) is there to measure this.

Thanks in advance
Shan

I used a neat little program called netio to test the bandwidth between all my servers...Linux, Windows, Solaris... Reading your post again, I don't think that's what you're looking for. Something like snoop or snort maybe?

He's right...Cacti is an awesome way to keep more then just network throughput... Good suggestion!
