Install Solaris 10 on IBM ThinkPad

I have ThinkPad r51e (IBM), i want to install solaris 10 x86 in other parttion in my disk. How can i to do that, plese explain me step by step

Step 1: check if your H/W is compatible
- Sun Device Detection Tool ( http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/hcts/device_detect.html )
or
- Installation Check Tool ( http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/hcts/install_check.html )
Step 2: download an image suitable for your H/W, likely Solaris Express latest build DVD.
Step 3: record the media (DVD or a bunch of CDs)
Step 4: backup all important data as you are likely to wipe your disk by mistake
Step 5: boot the media (DVD or first CD)
Step 6: install Solaris on the target partition
Step 7: enjoy
