Time Sharing is the default scheduling class on Solaris ie., CPU is shared in rotation between threads at the same priority using time slicing scheme

Note:
1) -c option of "ps" command prints the scheduler properties for the process

eg.,
Code:
% ps -c
PID CLS PRI TTY TIME CMD
  6824 TS 59 pts/4 0:00 csh
 25567 TS 49 pts/4 0:00 ps
2) "priocntl" command can be used to set scheduling parameters to a process

3) -l option of "dispadmin" lists all the configured scheduler classes on the system

eg.,
Code:
% dispadmin -l
CONFIGURED CLASSES
==================

SYS (System Class)
TS (Time Sharing)
FX (Fixed Priority)
RT (Real Time)
IA (Interactive)
