How to kill processes using ssh remotely

As we are handling solaris production servers remotely. As we are facing the problem in which we are not able to login through ssh into one of the Solaris 10 Box.

In the same ref we are able to ping the same. Now as all servers are production only ssh is only enabled in all servers.

Now to resolve the issue I would like to kill few process of solaris 10 Box without login into the same, as it will not allow the same.

In the same ref I would like to know how to kill the unwanted process to free up I/O connections from remotely.

If ssh is the only way to remotely access your servers and for some reason you cannot log in through ssh on some of them, I don't see how you would be able to kill processes then.

If you could, that would have been quite a security flaw.

For that purpose, servers located in data-centers have usually a separate administration network with direct console access.

Dude, are you legit?

If so, How does your boss feel about you posting the IP address of a secure production server to online forums?

That being said, and assuming you are legit, think about what user you are logging in as, and if that user is actually configured to be allowed to login through ssh. Also, check if your user has a valid shell.
