how to hide a file in solaris 10
 

Hello y'all. Always wondered, can a file be hidden in solaris like it is in windows OS? Yea I know there are hidden files in solaris already, but honestly, I don't know how they were hidden! So basically, would like to know how to "hide and un-hide" a file in solaris 10 precisely. My distro is solaris 10. Hope to read from someone soon.

I would think that it works the same way as on any other Unix/Linux, just put a . in front of the name.
