Question How to backspace when connected to solaris boxen

Hello everyone. When I ssh or telnet into a Solaris box from my RH9 box I cannot use my backspace key. When I press backspace it just deletes the whole line or word. If I want to delete just one character I need to use CTRL-H . That does the trick. What do I need to set to make my backspace key work correctly?

Thanks
