Hi
Im completely newbie in Solaris .Any help whether is possible to get opensource solaris version .Which i can boot through vm and start learning .

Solaris in no more opensourced. You might want to try openindiana.

One of my friend inform that Solaris version 10 is opensource .whether openindiana is version of solaris .Whether its true its possible to install in vmware workstation

Your friend is misinformed. Solaris 10 is not and has never been open source.
