help Installing on to Gateway 3100
i have a laptop gateway 3100 and 160MB of ram is it possible to install the systemn opensolaris 10 there? becouse when i try to start from the cd it gets just to something like 2nd stage and thats it.

From the documentation, it should be able to install with 128 MB on a 120Mhz CPU or +, so perhaps the problem is elsewhere.

By the way, you mentioned "opensolaris 10" which doesn't exists, is this Solaris 10 or Solaris Express or sth else ?

ok here is the filename of the image which i could download from the sun website sol-10-GA-x86-v1-iso.zip
but it is freezing when i try to boot from the cd, becouse booting with my panasonic laptop works with the same cd so the cd is not the problem, maybe it does matter with the hardware? its a pentium2 133 mhz gateway 3100
