Everything there should work just fine.
You do not tell the graphic nor the network cards.

Is it a laptop ? if yes, you'd rather tell us the model.

In any cases, the simplest way to figure out if a machine will work with Solaris is to pick a live CD Open Solaris based distro, and ask the vendor to try booting it on a demo machine.

As nobody reported yet it works, there is a slight risk it doesn't.

By the way, I do not found it on the Acer site, are you sure you didn't mistype the model ?

OpenSolaris live distributions are Schillix, Belenix and Nexenta.

A live distribution is one you can use from the CD, without the need of installation on the disk.
