firefox 17.0.1 crashes on Solaris 5/08 sparc
I have updated firefox 3.6.28 to firefox 17.0.1 on my Sun Blade 150 running Solaris 5/08 sparc,
but firefox 17.0.1 crashes on Solaris 5/08 sparc while accessing http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop or many other sites The version 3.6.28 works fine. I have tried 4.0,1, 6.0.2 and 10.0.3 and got similar crash. [1] + Segmentation Fault firefox The truss result for firefox 17.0.1 is given below: .... .... /1: brk(0x03FE18F8) = 0 /9: lwp_park(0xF4CFBA60, 0) Err#62 ETIME /9: clock_gettime(4, 0xF4CFBC00) = 0 /9: write(28, "FA", 1) = 1 /9: clock_gettime(4, 0xF4CFBC00) = 0 /21: lwp_park(0x00000000, 0) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBBD0) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBBD0) = 0 /21: lseek(43, 42496, SEEK_SET) = 42496 /21: write(43, "\001\013\0\0\0\0\0\0\001".., 605) = 605 /9: lwp_park(0xF4CFBA60, 0) = 0 /9: clock_gettime(4, 0xF4CFBC00) = 0 /21: lwp_unpark(9) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBA90) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FB9C8) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBA20) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBA20) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBB50) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBB50) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBAD8) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBAD8) = 0 /21: write(67, "ED83 KF9 =B0 ,0E14851D r".., 16384) = 16384 /9: lwp_park(0xF4CFBA60, 0) = 0 /9: clock_gettime(4, 0xF4CFBC00) = 0 /21: lwp_unpark(9) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBA50) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FB988) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBB30) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBA80) = 0 /21: clock_gettime(4, 0xF29FBA80) = 0 /21: write(67, "91 iDA ,ED9E R $ \ ) t E".., 15034) = 15034 /21: close(67) = 0 /9: lwp_park(0xF4CFBA60, 0) = 0 /9: clock_gettime(4, 0xF4CFBC00) = 0 /21: lwp_unpark(9) = 0 .... .... /1: time() = 1355177378 /1: time() = 1355177378 /1: time() = 1355177378 /1: time() = 1355177378 /9: lwp_park(0xF4CFBA60, 0) Err#62 ETIME /9: clock_gettime(4, 0xF4CFBC00) = 0 /9: clock_gettime(4, 0xF4CFBC00) = 0 /1: time() = 1355177378 /1: Incurred fault #6, FLTBOUNDS %pc = 0xFF0B17A0 /1: siginfo: SIGSEGV SEGV_MAPERR addr=0x00006C0A /1: Received signal #11, SIGSEGV [caught] /1: siginfo: SIGSEGV SEGV_MAPERR addr=0x00006C0A /1: lwp_sigmask(SIG_SETMASK, 0xFFBFFEFF, 0x0000FFF7) = 0xFFBFFEFF [0x0000FFFF] /1: unlink("/export/home/ahm2345/.mozilla/firefox/fifxtkj3.default/lock") = 0 /1: sigaction(SIGSEGV, 0xFFBF6868, 0x00000000) = 0 /1: lwp_sigmask(SIG_SETMASK, 0xFFBFFAFF, 0x0000FFF7) = 0xFFBFFEFF [0x0000FFFF] /1: lwp_kill(1, SIGSEGV) = 0 /1: Received signal #11, SIGSEGV [default] /1: siginfo: SIGSEGV pid=1148 uid=1002 code=-1 Any help will be greately appreciated. |
