few newbie questions...


what is currently latest and stable version of apache, openssl and mod-ssl?
how to upgrade apache, openssl and mod-ssl?
i have 0.9.7e openssl installed, which version to upgrade to?
solaris 5.9

uname -a or showrev without any options will show you what version of solaris you
are running. Regarding the versions of the software mentioned before, type pkginfo -l package_name to see the version installed.

Have you tried pkginfo -l package_name_here to see the version of the package?


Regarding apache, Solaris 10 comes with apache 1x and 2x. 1x is a legacy script and apache 2x is a service.
