/etc/TIMEZONE
Hi,
I was having a font problem while running xclock: (Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion) so I edited the /etc/TIMEZONE and switched it from UTF-8 to en_US.ISO8859-1. Then reboot. Everything works great now, but I was wondering if this would cause problems somewhere else on the system? I'm not really familiar with this folder or the en_US file. Or Solaris, for that matter. Thanks :o) |
It will be fine - shouldn't effect anything in a negative way
