ETC/Passwrd error

Hello everyone im kinda new to these boards. I need some help with deleting a user name off my Sun System here at work. Its giving me a ETC/passwrd error. Every time i try to delete this person of our system. If you can help me that would be awesome.

Moved: If its a sun system with Solaris, more suitable in our Solaris forums.

And as for the error your getting, if you provide that, might give us some more insight on the actual problem.

As root run the userdel utility. That should take care of everything.
