I'd like to install and configure DKIM on Solaris, but Oracle seems to demand $$$.
Has anyone tried CSWpmmaildkim on Solaris?
Or is there better free solution?

I deployed one solution that works on CentOS 7, postfix 2.10 and opendkim 2.11.
It is all free, and it works perfectly.

I am sorry, but I have never deploy anything serious on Solaris.

Can that DKIM thing run on a separate computer?

Sorry for the delay, as I did not check my LQ folder.

I installed all from CentOS and EPEL repos.

Did you mean to run the Postfix and OpenDKIM on separated servers?
If so, I have not tried that. They both run on the same server in the environment I set up.
That said, I do not see how OpenDKIM will easy be able to sign mail about to leave the Postfix to go on the "wild", if they do not run on the same server.

But you might need to dig deeper as OpenDKIM communicate with Postfix through a socket, it might be possible to have it work over the network. That will require extra things to care about such as the firewall.
