crontab Error
I was trying to use the crontab syntax:
Quote:
*/5 * * * * /home/oracle/new
|
And I was getting an error:
Quote:
$ crontab -e
*/15 * * * * /home/oracle/new
crontab: error on previous line; unexpected character found in line.
crontab: errors detected in input, no crontab file generated.
|
I resolved the issue by using the similar syntax:
Quote:
0,15,30,45 * * * * /home/oracle/new

Rather than requesting removal you should post the original problem and what you did to resolve it. One of the points in forums like this is to allow users to search for similar problems and resolutions.
