Creating Solaris10 zone in Solaris11.3 without .flar

Hello,

I've setup a lab of Solaris 11.3 with multiple zones in 11.3.

I have now found out that the client runs CAM (common array manager) on a Solaris 10 physical box to manage his storage.
Since CAM only works in Solaris 10, I need to create a zone with Solaris 10 in my Sol113 lab.

Problem is, afaik, the only way to do so is by using a flar from an existing Solaris10 to install as a Bran Solaris10 in the 11.3 box.

Is there any other way to install a Solaris10 zone, maybe using the ISO? Or another method?

Thanks in advance for the responses.

The other documented methods only use different archive formats like cpio or pax but the workflow is essentially the same. You need an already installed Solaris 10 system to create the archive.

You might also clone an existing Solaris10 branded zone, but that doesn't help either in your case.

There no way to install Solaris 10 from scratch in such a zone.
