libresolv.so.2 library file is corrupted.As such, cannot launch certain programs like mailx, as get this error message :
$ ld.so.1: mail: fatal: relocation error: file /u
sr/lib/libresolv.so.2: symbol __nsl_fopen: referenced symbol not found
Copying (replacing) this file from another system causes this system to hang. Is there anyway, can "repair" this file (eg. certain patches, fsck, etc).
