connecting sun fire v440

Hi,

I would like to know the following.

how to connect Serial Port , if I dont have com port on my system?

wheather ethernet port will work of my system?

how to connect Network/MGMT port if it is not configure with Ip address?

I am unable to connect the server.

Please suggest.

I use a USB to Serial adapter then hook up a DB9 to rj45 (Blue cisco cable).
