As above. Cos I gt existing FC2 and tried installing Solaris 9. The FC2 is gone.

Yes, they can. But you have to re-partition your hd if you want to have both..
I guess you installed Solaris over your Fedora 2 install.. (giving it a different format, but same partition). |
Or soon I install Solaris first follow by Linux.
