As above. Cos I gt existing FC2 and tried installing Solaris 9. The FC2 is gone.

Yes, they can. But you have to re-partition your hd if you want to have both..

I guess you installed Solaris over your Fedora 2 install.. (giving it a different format, but same partition).

Or soon I install Solaris first follow by Linux.

Yes, Solaris can coexist with others. Just look at the thread shown below where I have the configurations for four Operating systems co existing simultaneously. I would recommend installing Solaris last because it has geometry problems and the Solaris filesystem shares the same identity as the Linux swap partition. Also some Linux distros (Mandrake 9.2, old Red Hats, etc) overwrite Solaris (they utilise the Solaris partition as a swap). Installing Solaris last is greatly recommended.

You can boot all the different partitions either using the Solaris bootloader or using Grub/LILO. The LILO configurations are given below to make the Solaris bootable.
