Can not assign IP address

Hi

I am trying to assign my x86 Solaris 10 box an IP address of 192.168.0.1

I have installed nforce2 ether drivers successfully.

I have my /etc/hosts file like this:
192.168.0.1 anna

/etc/nodename
anna

But when I reboot, it say failed to configure nfo0 IPV4 with assigned IP address.
Any points to where I should check or look?

# svcs -x
svc:/network/physical:default (physical network interfaces)
State: maintenance since Wed Sep 28 09:42:13 2005
Reason: Start method exited with $SMF_EXIT_ERR_CONFIG.
See:
See: ifconfig(1M)
See: /etc/svc/volatile/network-physical:default.log
Impact: 5 dependent services are not running. (Use -v for list.)

Sep 28 09:42:13 anna svc.startd[7]: [ID 652011 daemon.warning] svc:/network/physical:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/net-physical" failed with exit status 96.

# more /etc/svc/volatile/network-physical:default.log

Create a file /etc/hostname.nfo0 containing "anna"
Then run:
Code:
ifconfig nfo0 plumb
ifconfig nfo0 192.168.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
to see what happens
