I have just downloaded the dvd iso images of Solaris 10 but they are broken into 5 cd size chunks (500-650 MB) rather than one DVD image. I can't even burn these file types onto a cdr so I have to extract the files and make a new cd image. However, I'd like to be able to make one big DVD-r iso image out of the 5 files (named sol-10-u2-ga-x86-dvd-iso-a to e). Will this work or do I have to do something special so that after the first image's files are installed it knows where to look on the DVD for the second image's files. Or will it just prompt me to insert a new dvd?

You have to concatenate these 5 files to create the single DVD iso.
