block email functions on single account

I am using Solaris 5.8 as a mail server

i have about 50 mail accounts on the box including mine and they all work with out problem. My question is that I don't use my account for email and only as a login, but I get a lot of spam (1000's by the time I get around to cleaning it), I know i can just change the account name and delete the old account, thus solving the problem, but I was wondering if I can just block the email aspect of the username and only use it as a login?

Thanks in advance

I found a-round-about way by adding a .forward with a bogus email address like "spammer@blah.com" which returns a failure notice to the sender but still would be interested in finding out the correct method.

Instead of deleting your account, I guess just changing your username (e.g. gbarny1 vs gbarny) in /etc/passwd while keeping you uid the same would stop the mail delivery to happen, and keep your home dir still functional.
There are probably other solutions by configuring your MTA (I guess sendmail), but trying out changes in sendmail.conf is risky on a living system.
