Which one certification is better?

SCSA for Solaris 9 OR SCSA for Solaris 10?

My company does not have have Solaris 10 servers and desktops. We still running Solaris 8 (both servers and desktops) in our network.

Probably 10, your company is more likely to directly upgrade to Solaris 10 than to 9.

I'm going to be doing the solaris 10 just because management views it as something that would include 9 knowledge. (even if it doesn't)

Solaris version increments are not that disruptive.
These are actually minor versions changes.
They could have been named Solaris 2.9 and Solaris 2.10 shouldn't Sun marketing have decided to simplify the numbering after Solaris 2.6.

I'd do Solaris 10 as knowledge of zones is important as companies continue to consolidate servers.
