You can download a Solaris based live CD (eg: belenix) to check how your H/W is supported.

There are also utilities which can help you figuring ou the same.

See:

http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/hcts/install_check.html
http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/driverlist.html

You may also want to try Solaris Express, which has a wider range of supported hardware.
