When I rebooted a server one of the main interfaces didn't come back. it was left with 0.0.0.0

The interface that didn't come back was igb0

How does the /etc/hostname.igb0 file look like?
Usually it has just a hostname entry (one word) that must exactly match in the /etc/inet/hosts file and maps to the IP address.
Compare to the other files: /etc/hostname.igb1 /etc/hostname.igb2 ...!
