(If I succeed, the information will be cleaned and system will be normal booted. If I defeated, there will be some waring information at the bottom as follow and nothing response) Waring:/pci@0,0/pci-ide@1f,1/ide@0(ata0); timeout:abort request,target=0 lun=0 Waring:/pci@0,0/pci-ide@1f,1/ide@0(ata0); timeout:abort device,target=0 lun=0 Waring:/pci@0,0/pci-ide@1f,1/ide@0(ata0); timeout:reset target,target=0 lun=0 Waring:/pci@0,0/pci-ide@1f,1/ide@0(ata0); timeout:reset bus,target=0 lun=0 I have to press reset at the time. The system will be normal booted next time. |
Somthing to try
I have noticed that on some mother boards that if I disable PnP then things work a lot better |
Thanks!
But my mainboard's CMOS have no option for this.my mainboard is gigabyte 8iexp. |
Check the DMA settings in your BIOS.

How to modify?
What DMA do you say, harddisk?I user "auto" to this option.
How to modify the option, and what is the reason maybe? |
it actually appears as though solaris is having a hard time accessing and recognizing the hard drive. If you can boot into single user mode, and use the drvconfig and disks command, this may help...
