2nd NIC in an Ultra 5

Hi

I have an Ultra5 running Solaris 9 and am keen to install a 2nd NIC. I know that Sun have cards available but they are not cheap. I was wondering if you can use a generic PCI ethernet card instead?

I dont have one to test with and didn't want to buy one unless it had a pretty good chance of success.

Thanks in advance

All sorted. I managed to buy a second hand 4port Znyx card that is supported by Solaris (2.6-9).
