This system was shipped originally with windows 8.1 according to the documantation. As far as I know, Win8 requires UEFI. It may be possible to install it without UEFI, however, I do not know that for sure.
Since you seem to have partitioning on the emcc, could you boot up the system with the installer and run the command as root gdisk -l /dev/sda and post the results.
The drive may not be called sda, so substitute the correct name for sda. What I want to see, is if the efi partition is set up correctly or not. Here is what it looks like when it is correct.
Note the code column, we need the EF00 in that column. It needs to be formatted as fat32 also.
This is available in their above post. Seems Their UEFI partition is set to the proper partition type.
(Note, if you use [code][/code] tags instead of [quote][/quote] tags, it'll keep the proper spacing of your output.)
I do not think the problem you are having is because of your eMCC drive. You have been able to partition and format it. That is an indication it works.
I tried to go and find the .iso you posted in post #6. That results in a 404 error. You have not posted how you created the media you are trying to install from. Right now, this is the best bet as to what is failing.
Please post how you created the install media, and the type of media. DVD or usb stick; or what ever.
I would like you to re-try this again. Download an .iso of your choice, and if possible make sure it boots on another system. Please be specific, and tell us if you can get to the setup screen. If not, what errors.
