slackware installation, or package installation??

I saw this forum and was a bit puzzled at first. Is this forum in regards to intalling slackware or post-install .tgz/source problems. Its jsut that I always thought of slackware to be one of the easier-to-install disto's.

Well if thats the case then I guess I'll be back to lend a helping hand whenever I can!

Just wanted some clarification, thanks

it could be either, but i think as people post, rules will be set (unwritten of course) and the LQ society will set the standard when necessary

right now, i guess, this forum can be as broad as anything related to installing something in slackware or the slackware installation itself

... i sound like i am reciting a social contract theory... i should stop
