Slackware current install issue with mmcblk EFI partitions
Recently installed on a Z83 intel Atom system which has an internal storage device mmcblk0. After booting the -current x64 (issue may be on x86 as well) and installing, during the alotting of the partitions, it says that it detected my EFI partition and asked if I wanted to format it and add it to the fstab. The correct device name is /dev/mmcblk0p1, but the setup from the installer tried to format the non-existent /dev/mmcblk01, the 'p' before the partition number on the device was missing.
I had to switch to the 2nd virtual terminal, activate it, and mkfs.vfat /dev/mmcblk0p1, then vi /tmp/SeTnative and correct the botched entry for /dev/mmcblk0p1 that would go into the /mnt/etc/fstab. Switch back to the first console and continue.
I do not know who maintains the setup program for Slackware, but if this could be brought to their attention it would be appreciated.
Also, if there is some place to report issues for Slackware I would appreciate knowing. I have emailed Patrick, but I know he is really busy.
If anyone has this issue the workaround I used is above, and anyone knowing where Slackware distro issues can be logged for review, I would be interested in knowing.
Thanks,
