Slackware 14.2 UEFI and HP Probook 4440
Slackware will not install with UEFI
When I switch to legacy it will not install to USB 8GB startup

Did you disable the secure boot and quick boot?

What do you mean it won't install? Do you mean the slackware installation media is not found? Or do you mean that the target (8gb usb) was not found? Or do you mean that it tried to install, but there was a kernel panic on boot?
