slackware 14.2 setting video mode problem with intel n2600 processor

Hello,

I have a problem with installing slackware 14.2 on panel PC ecquipped with intel n2600 processor with integrated graphics. The setup process is going fine but after reboot the screen is blank after series of information from kernel. I can login into system using ssh but can't make screen working in text mode. Tried many options in lilo with setting different video modes but without any success.

the pc panel: https://www.ieiworld.com/en/product/model.php?II=30

lspci shows:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Atom Processor D2xxx/N2xxx Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0b)

Any help appreciated

Regards,
Robert

Hello Didier,

Thanx for Your response.

The output of the cmd is:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Atom Processor D2xxx/N2xxx Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0be1] (rev 0b)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Atom Processor D2xxx/N2xxx Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:1999]
Kernel driver in use: gma500
Kernel modules: gma500_gfx

The panel native res is 800x600, so i tried all of the modes, like 788, 787, 771, 791. result the same... blank screen after boot.

Regards,
Robert

If not already done, try VGA=normal or VGA=ask.

Else you can investigate typing in a web search engine
8086:0be1 black screen
or
8086:0be1 blank screen

So now I have the screen working in txt mode. Now X11....

Robert
