Slackware 14.2: oversensitive mouse launches random sites

I'm running Slack 14.2 Current on a Lenovo g50-80 that is equipped with a multi touch mousepad. two fingered mousing is nice, although the gestures not always work in a controlled way.

the most annoying thing however is that sometimes I make some kind of gesture (always when I have more than one finger on the pad) which opens a new url in the current windowtab...
When this happens on LQ the LQ site warns me but most other sites just kick me out.

Any hint?

Code:
jan@oxygen ~$ uname -a
Linux oxygen 3.18.11-smp #2 SMP Tue Apr 7 14:36:46 CDT 2015 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4005U CPU @ 1.70GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

As I mentioned in my response to your other topic, try updating to the latest version of Slackware-current and see if you still have problems. If you do, I'd suggest posting it on the main Slackware forum, since this issue doesn't deal with the installation of Slackware.

Slackware 14.2: oversensitive mouse launches random sites

What DE ? You might have to install a package to enable the right panel in your DE.

Anyway, it might be a standard configuration. Can't remember right now the command but might find it when back on my laptop. Have a look at /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf or create it. There are several ones on the web that will give you a good overview of the possible options.
