Slackware 10.0 + LSI SCSI Card

I have a LSI scsi controller card and a seagate HD. I'm trying to install slackware 10.0 and the docs say use the raid.s kernel. However when I run cfdisk it shows only 600 megs are free and it should be atleast 40. My question is..what kernel would I use to install on a scsi hd + lsi controller card?
