Slack 10 iso's

I'm downloading this in Windows and using Nero to write to CD's. How can I do this so they're bootable? I'm assuming the one I just tried failed since I booted it and the screen took me to DrDOS.

If you already have drdos installed on your computer and your computer by defaults boots to it then yes, you did not successfully make a bootable cd. I am not very familiar with the Nero program, but even if it was not successfully made bootable it is not very hard to make a bootable floppy. Using rawwrite in windows or in linux using the dd command, this will allow you to boot up the install and let you setup your cdrom drive to install from the cd. If you do not have drdos installed on your pc perhaps you downloaded the wrong program, try downloading from a recommended mirror at slackware.com and run a md5checksome on the file to be sure you downloaded the correct file. Sincerely, Dan

i use nero in windows too, and all i did was when i open the program close the 1st window that comes up that asks what you wana make, i just forget that all together, and go up to file, and select burn image, then go to where the slack isos are and double click the iso i wana burn and it does the rest, and they work perfect. i know you alredy got them made and 10 running and all but just for future reference, unless your gonna do it in slack from now on
