I tried to helped him but fdisk and cfdisk was not detecting his sata hard disk.
My new computer will come with sata hd too so i'm worried about won't be able to install it.

The default slackware kernel does not support SATA. You need to boot a slackware kernel what does support SATA: sata.i or test26.s

When booting from the install disc, follow the instructions and - when prompted - try either sata.i or test26.s.

Make sure that the kernel that you install is also one of these.

You will also need to enter "cfdisk /dev/sda" to see the SATA drive.

Slackware-current has, and Slackware-11.0 will have sata.i as default.
