same findutils in 14.1 as in 14.0 ?
 
The UPGRADE document in 14.1 says one the first things to do when upgrading from 14.0 is to upgrade the findutils package.
As far as I can see, the one in 14.1 is identical to the one already present in 14.0.
Was another package intended for 14.1 and was somehow left out of the final image, or was that section of UPGRADE just inherited from previous versions?

that "upgradepkg /root/slackware/a/findutils-*.txz" is in every UPGRADE.TXT since slackware-13.0, so if the package hasn't been upgraded between one version of Slackware and the other you can safely go on (I think it's safe to assume it means "use the latest findutils package").
