ok so im about as n00b as thay come, i just instaled slackware and i dont know how to get my nic running its a 3com 3c905b, this is probly a simpil prob but i still need help.
That's the later version of EtherLink III supporting full-duplex, right? I remember that it is ISA but not PnP. I have such a card in my old PC but I'm not using it because I have faster Realtek 8139. I remember the option for its driver in the kernel menuconfig. What is your problem exactly? Check if it is detected by the kernel or if it a module is loaded for it and if it is your problem should might be something else but not the nic. Before using it you should configure the network options (IP, Gateway ...) you know, right? Tell us more info please.
