My new X30 comes in a day or two, but I'm doubting it'll have a CDROM or floppy on board. Is there any way to do a network install of slack? I have access to a Windoze Desktop, and a Friend's thinkpad which runs linux.
I don't know what is X30, but if you don't have floppy or cdrom, and if you can't boot from usb, you have to install on another machine, then put the hard drive in you new machine. Just remember to install the good kernel, and don't reboot when the installation is finished.
