Mounted Install but Booted From CD?

Let me re-phrase,

Is there anyway you can boot from a cd, mount another hard drive and install slackware from that hdd? I ask because I have no blanks and no burner and my cd is bad...Im pretty sure its possible. Right now im downloading Slackware 10.1 (not the iso but the regular folder/directory). Thanks for any & all replys!

Have you tried booting from a floppy image? This may allow you to mount your hard drive so that you can start the install from it. I'm not entirely sure what you are asking here, a bit more explanation would be appreciated.
