mount


hi
i have slackware 10
under gnome every thing is ok but under kde there is a problem:
when i mount any device like hard or cdrom or floppy with desktop mount
icon the device is mount but not with all option like iocharset,umask,....
but when i root only(in user acount mount with all option)

note:when i mount with command line the device is mount with all option.

plz help me.

check out ur /etc/fstab file , when u mount that from terminal it checks ur fstab file for all users and when u do that with some other user then the settings of fstab are applied

i may be wrong here

why as a root only in kde only?
