Missing -Current webpmux

While playing with -Current got this:

ERROR: ffmpeg: error while loading shared libraries: libwebpmux.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Had to install manually to get things working, like videos and stuff.

ftp://ftp7.freebsd.org/sites/www.lin...l/libwebp.html

Thanks,
James

that happened because you haven't installed the new packages added to the current tree, as it happened a few days ago with libwebp.

please parse the ChangeLog.txt of current to see what has been added and if you're using slackpkg to update your current installation, in general, follow this routine
Code:
slackpkg update
slackpkg install-new
slackpkg upgrade-all
you should also do a
Code:
slackpkg clean-system
to automagically remove the packages removed from the slackware current tree but be aware that this command will suggest you to remove also every third-party package you have installed yourself on your current so be sure to deselect them if you don't want for them to be removed.

Yes, I did that and noticed libwebp-0.6.0 when "install-new" ran.

that should have installed also libwebpmux.so.3 (included in the libwebp package).

It seems to be missing the links.

Unpacked from libwebp-0.6.0-i586-1.txz:

[jimtabor@desk ~/temp/usr/lib]$ ls
libwebp.so.7.0.0* libwebpdecoder.so.3.0.0* libwebpdemux.so.2.0.2* libwebpmux.so.3.0.0* pkgconfig/ python2.7/

Here after rebuilding and installing from source:

[jimtabor@desk ~/temp/usr/lib]$ ls /usr/lib/libwebpmux*
/usr/lib/libwebpmux.la* /usr/lib/libwebpmux.so@ /usr/lib/libwebpmux.so.3@ /usr/lib/libwebpmux.so.3.0.0*

links are created when you install the package by the /var/log/scripts/libwebp-0.6.0-x86_64-1 file that is executed during installation (the doinst.sh file in the package).

Well, this was an interesting install. Let's chalk it up as a glitch.

Thanks for helping out.
