i'm trying to install slackware 9.1 on my Compaq PC, and i have a Compaq USB Internet Keyboard. got the install CDs from the ISO's no problem (thank God He created broadband ). got a new hard drive in, no problems. computer's set to boot first from CDROM... problem. i get past the first install screen, but then right before it gets to the "select non-US keyboard" or whatever speal, ironically i lose all functionality to my keyboard.

anyone know how to fix this? i do have a USB to PS/2 adapter, but my computer refuses to recognize the keyboard if its in a PS/2 port

I have a MS Natural USB keyboard, and have no problem. The one thing I can think of is to try booting a different kernel? I used bare.i with no issues, but give it a shot.
