locale and keyboard settings

Hello,

I am new to Slackware Linux, i used SuSE for a long period of time, i have got two questions:

locale settings (like LANG, ROOT_USES_LANG, RC_ALL, RC_LC_ALL) have been set under SuSE in /etc/sysconfig/language.

I found /etc/profiles.d/lang.sh on Slackware, but i was only able to set LANG and not the other Variables like ROOT_USES_LANG etc..) where can i set these under Slackware?

The keyboard stuff (thinks like KBD_NUMLOCK - which turns NUMLOCK on or off while booting) was/is stored in /etc/sysconfig/keyboard under SuSE, where can i find the configfile to activate the NUMLOCK, KABSLOCK etc... under Slackware at bootup.

Thanks,

tt

Have you had any luck with these changes? I'm looking to do the same and don't have a clue as to where to look for these things.

Thanks,
drisay.

No, i only found /etc/profile.d/lang.sh for setting the LANG variable, but not the file which is responsible for the keyboard stuff..
