lilo problem

After the installation of Slackware 10.0 I couldn't boot in. The problem was that changes weren't written to master boot sector.

I'm not sure if you executed /sbin/lilo -v to write your changes to master boot sector; Lilo needs this; In grub boot loader you don't have to do that - a change in grub.conf is enough; but with lilo you should write it to your disk's MBR

and if you want to delete lilo, just use fdisk program with /MBR option - this should write window$ bootloader to MBR;

I hope this piece of info will be helpfull
