Keymaps!!
 

Hi, have instaled S/W many times. Recently, I installed with default US keymap, ...ekk. Normally, with:

#loadkeys uk

I could change my keymap default setting for the system. However, now I have to do this each time I restart and for each user. Any ideas...?

BTW. Does 10.1 have better support for USB memory stick hotplugging, and WiFi PCMCIAs?

The simplest solututions are usually the best ones

run 'xorgconfig' and choose the keyboard layout you want? Only thing I can think of.

Try editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf, if it is a problem in X. The file is fairly easy to interpret.
