thanks for answer, idaho...
that command works fine, but not at all: almost all of the special characters are in the right place (ex: "-_?'¿#" ..etc) but the 'ñ' and the this tilde: ´ (the one to make á,é,í,ó,ú) aren't ..do you have any idea why, or what should I do to get that missing characters?
thanks again
PD: the 'ALT + (number)' combination to get characters thru ASCII values neither works!

Is your keyboard actually Spanish, or would it be considered Argentinian?
Perhaps something like loadkeys ar would be helpful, if Argentina has its own special keymapping.
As for the ALT+(number) thing, I usually find it easiest to just open up a character map application and copy the character. A Google search reveals, though, that you can also make a personal keymap to set up special characters. Might be worth it if you use a lot that aren't already on your keyboard.

sorry about the delay, motub... I was a little busy.
about the 'alt + (number)' stuff... I was wrong: it's working fine.
and about the 'argentinian keymap' ...mmmm...don't think it exist... I know there's a difference between latin-american spanish, and spain spanish.... but in the slack's keybd directory only exist 2 kinds of settings: 'ES' and 'somenumbershereES' but netiher the first or the second have the 'ñ' key.....
In fact, that's not really important....I've got a couple of more important things to ask ....so, I'll be in touch..
thanks, pal
