Keyboard does not work in run level 3

Hello,

Recently I installed Slackware 9.1 on a P4 system which has 104 Key Board. Strangely, this keyboard works only when I boot in single-user mode. In multi-user mode it does not work. Any hints regarding correcting this?

Thanks for your help,

Anand

USB mouse is causing this problem.

After several trials, I found that the USB mouse connected to the system was causing this problem. If I use a USB-to-PS2 converter and connect the mouse to the PS2 port this problem is not seen.

I just removed my wireless USB mouse connector and then reconnected my keyboard. It worked. Can now connect mouse again. God knows how or why...but it worked. Thanks a tonne. Earlier I had to restart the pc for it.
